Quick Answer

The TIMEMORE Impulse Impact Tamper uses a spring-action assembly and self-leveling collar to deliver a consistent, powerful espresso tamp every time. Built from anodized aluminum and precision-milled stainless steel, it ships fast across the US with a 30-day return window from Snagva.

What does the spring action on the TIMEMORE Impulse Tamper do?

Internal springs deliver a consistent, powerful tamp and then reset automatically, so every tamp uses the same amount of pressure.

Should I choose the flat or ripple base tamper?

Choose the flat base for a smooth, level puck, or the ripple base if your portafilter basket is designed to pair with a ripple surface.

What size portafilter does this tamper fit?

It's built for a 58.4mm basket diameter, a common size for many prosumer and commercial espresso machines.

Why does the tamper have an anti-vacuum base?

A chamfered lip breaks suction when you lift the tamper, so the coffee puck stays intact and doesn't stick to the tamper base.
