This 12V remote control kit gives a kids' electric ride-on car or truck a new control box and a wireless remote, so a parent can steer, stop, and reverse from a distance. It works well for replacing a worn-out control module or adding remote control to a compatible ride-on.
Key Features
- 2.4G Bluetooth remote control for wireless operation
- Control modes: Forward, Reverse, Left, Right, and Stop
- Remote range of up to 100 ft in open space
- Multicolor LED indicator that flashes to confirm pairing and power status
- Water-resistant housing with secure mounting holes
- Remote includes a frequency key for pairing

Installation: RX43-12V-FC-CE
Unplug and remove the old control box from the ride-on. Match the 7-pin connector orientation, then secure the new control box in place and reconnect the battery leads. Pair the remote using the frequency matching steps below.
Installation: RX23-12C-FC-CE
Disconnect the battery and unplug the old control box. Plug in the new RX23 control box, with the pins aligned as shown in the connector. Power on and pair the remote. This variant has a different connector pin arrangement from the RX43 version.
Frequency Matching Steps
- Install two AAA 1.5V batteries in the Wireless Magic Cars Parental Control remote, observing the correct polarity, then close the battery cover. Three rapid LED flashes confirm power.
- Press and hold the Frequency button on the remote for about two seconds, until the LED begins to blink.
- Turn on the ride-on's main power switch. The remote LED stops flashing when the link is made.
- If pairing fails and the LED keeps blinking, power off the ride-on, repeat steps 2 and 3, and try again.
Once paired, the parent remote controls speed and direction. A replacement kit like this one is a practical way to get a ride-on working again without replacing the whole vehicle.
